All the high deck hemis use the same pump. So the list is a bit odd, no 392 but includes low decks, maybe they int., plus one non existant size. 2nd batch is "A" Polys.

Yes, the list is goofy. lol

The 392's have a slightly different bolt pattern.

A very good alternative is to use a small block Mopar pump with a Hot Heads adapter. These pumps are dirt cheap and perform well. We use 'em in both our EMC engines and in our Jr Fuel dragster. Zero issues.

They are a Gerotor design, which does not tolerate debris very well, so on a race engine with a screen rather than a filter, you need to keep an eye on the rotors.

Melling sells rebuild kits (under $30) for the small block Mopar pumps. The part number for the kit is the pump number followed by a "K".

Unless Leo's book is wrong, all the tall decks, inc 392, use the same pump.

There are two early Chrysler oil pumps.

One fits all low deck engines (301, 331, 354) through 1956.

The other fits both low and high deck engines (354, 392) 1957-58. I think. lol

Dan is right about there being two different bolt patterns between 354 and 392 oil pumps but, it's nothing you cant fix with a rat tail file.
