Anyone have links to information on building up a 55 331?
Any ideas on hp estimates with a moderate investment?

The '55 300 series cars produced 300 hp with 8.5 compression and dual (small) 4 bbls. With 9.5-10:1 compression, a decent cam, exhaust, and a modern dual plane aluminum manifold and appropriate carb you shold be able to get a reliable 350-400 hp. The higher the hp the higher the cost. A moderate rebuild will run about $2500-$3000.
