354 stroker
I have a chance to buy 2 early Hemi cranks for a 354 project that I'm planning, they are a 354 and a 392 at 10/10 for $100 each I was thinking of grinding down the 392 crank into the 354 specs or just offset grinding the 354 crank to the 392's stroke(3.90),anyone have any experience or input on what's cheaper and easier, thanks.

BUY THOSE CRANKS. The last 392 crank(used, std,std) I sold...I got $500.00 for.

Re: 354 stroker
Good deal on the cranks. Two thoughts: if you try to offset grind the 54 crank that much then you won't have much left...to use the 92 crank in a 54 block then start whittling. You will need to turn everything down to match the 54 dimensions.
Its been done, just alot of machine time.

Re: 354 stroker
I just picked up a 392 crank that has been machined down to 354 mains and BBC rods with 4.05" stroke for a 331 or 354. I want to get pistons for this, but where do people recommend that I go? I don't want to have to reinvent the wheel here so I would like a piston manufacturer who has worked with these 354 stroker motors before. Also, any recommendations on what rod length I can get away with?
Thanks in advance.

Any of the top piston manufacturers will be able to help you with pistons. Arias, Ross,Venolia.
They will need to know the specifics about your build. Stroke. Deck Height. Rod length. Combustion chamber volume. Head gasket thickness. Desired compression ratio. Ring pack. Pin diameter.

In addition, verify that the counter weights have been trimmed so that it actually fits in the confines of the block...

Re: 354 stroker
Yes, the counterweights have already been trimmed, but it will need to be balanced. Hopefully that won't prove to be too difficult.
