Hello All. I'm a new guy to the Forum.
I'm starting to build a 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury. My Father and I were going to build it. However, tragically, my Father passed away while participating in the Hot Rod Power Tour 2003. He suffered a heart attack in New Orleans.
Well, I'm pushing ahead (slowly) with this project. I now envision a more Pro-Nostalgic look to the Sport Fury. So, I want a more modern look. Dad wanted to use our 426 Max Wedge Stage III w/Hemi 4-Speed, but I'm going to use the 392 HEMI w/700R4.
Now for the Questions.
Has anyone seen/built a Tune Port 392 HEMI? I want to combine the Hemi function with modern look and performance of TPI. Also, there is nothing like a blown Hemi, however, the Roots-type blowers are too old-school for the look I'm after. Has anyone seen/built a centrifugal blower for an early Hemi?
Any help is appreciated.
