Hemi deck plates
Anyone out there have deck plates for the 392 that would like to rent them? I am building a motor and have not been able to find a shop near me that has them. I know that Hot Heads has them but shipping a block that far is not cheap, and I am not willing to drive it down. Thanks!

The machine shop that does all my blocks showed me that the "deck plate" in unnecessary when working on these blocks. The blocks are so well supported in the bores the runout on a "non plate honned" block was less than .00007. They do many many top fuel engines, the aluminum blocks require all sorts of support when machine work is done because of the metal shift. Early Chryslers do not shift enough to justify the additional labor cost .
