Hemi Silver Paint

Were all of the early (331, 354) Chrysler Hemis painted silver at the factory? Were any other colors factory original (1954 to 1957)?
Where can I find the correct color paint to match the original?
Was it a bright aluminum paint, or a duller, grey or whitish silver?

All the early Mopar hemis were aluminum silver from the factory. Chrysler Performance sells spray cans of the stuff and it is the right semi gloss.

I think you will find paint such as Krylon Dull Aluminum to be a pretty close match.

Some Mopar dealers are designated "Mopar Performance" dealers because they stock some of the performance catalog parts. ALL Mopar dealers can order the engine paint from their computer at the parts counter. Sorry I don't have the current part number available.
