Camshaft swap

Okay, newbie question... can I use a camshaft from a 1959 Dodge truck 354 in a 1954 Chrysler 331? I want to the Hot Heads timing gear/water pump housing and need to swap out the long snout cam with a short snout one.

You can put the 354 cam in the 331 & use 318/340 timing set. You must use a spacer between the cam & timing gear or it will lock on the block when you tighten it down.
