So here goes ....I have two 331 blocks , one has knurled cam bearing races one does not...I think I read somewhere that the knurled ones are factory but I can't relocate that article. Can anyone enlighten me. I have an engine builder waiting on response.

I wish I could help you, but I've never seen cam bearing that are knurled before. I'll look on my 392, but I don't think they were. Do you have a picture of what they look like?
