to kill off cars they don't think are politically correct, *
regardless* of what people actually *want to buy*!. By raising the prices on cars that the government and FIAT don't like, - ie - Hemi V8s, muscle cars, trucks and SUVs - they can sabotage and drive away sales and thus "prove" that they were right all along - that "consumers don't want Hemi V8s, muscle cars, trucks and SUVs"!
