D5 hemi heads

Post by ORANGECRATE54 »

I need some info and specs. on head #2531110 dual plug . These heads have small combustion chambers , missing the center outside head bolts, the exhaust valves are tipped over father, andthe standard rocker stands don`t fit. I also can`t use stock valve covers on them. The intake ports were round. Does anyone have parts for these heads? SPEEDYHD54@msn.com

sorry, i cant help you any with your part, but I too have a question along those lines. If those heads are D5 twin plug aluminum heads, is there anyplace that still makes them? I am sure they cost boatloads of cash

I have a pair of the D5 heads. they have monstrous intakes - 3.350!!!! the combustion chambers are also big - around 186 if memory serves me right. I am going to use them in an engine that will be in an SK boat - but not raced. I am plugging one set of plug holes. Wish I had known they were valuable BEFORE I ordered pistons for them and the engine (.030 over - 4.15 stroke - 7.1 rods!!!!!!!)

Hey guys - the intake valves are 2.350 NOT 3.350. Sorry - can't type - don't do windows - can adjust valves pretty good. Understand thats a real necessity with a Hemi. Great! Looking forward to it! Hugh
