Stage V head Specs

Post by UWeak »

I had a Hemi built with the Stage V heads. I was told that they are better heads but cannot find literature, even from Stage V!, which backs up the claim. Can anyone provide or turn me in the right direction to get the information/specs on these heads?

Impressive for sure, but the StageV still beats the stock heads and at a considerable total engine package savings. Likely they could be massaged for more flow, but is it needed(414 is good for around 850hp)? Then there's the flowbench calibration comparisons, the "nobody races flowbenches" argument(mine won't pass NHRA tech), the velocity vs flow vs runner volume vs intended usage, the fact that the exhaust port in a MP part needs welded floors to really flow properly, seat and guide material. He asked if they were better, and the article explained many items including airflow. The StageV complete package is a very good one, especially for the price.
