found set of D6 heads

Post by Txhemi »

Recently found a set of aluminum D6 heads, cast #3614485. Appear to be in good condition, do not have rocker assemblies with them. They were found with more Hemi parts including a block, cranks, rods, intakes, carbs, etc.

I do not have any Hemi knowledge to speak of. Are these heads worth anything to a collector/restorer?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

PN3614487 released late 1974 early 1975
Chrysler upgraded the D-1 series to these. An entirely different exhaust flange and D shaped port are used. Conventional headers will not fit. primary use was in blown motors. Not the most popular head due to port sizes and lack of manifolds. here's one behund the fabled D-5 Weslake round port hemi head that saw very little use.Image
