Dr. Laura resigns

Post by polyspheric »

No "media analyst" has anything to say?
How about asking the Dear Leader if he, or his wife, have EVER used the term? How about members of the Congressional Black Caucus? Let's ask them under oath - you remember, the way Mark Furman lost his job? What answer do you think you'll get?
A. "The question itself is so offensive that it does not deserve a response" Meaning: absolutely, totally guilty beyond count, but "it's none of your business because you're white".
B. "No". Meaning: perjury under oath is a felony, is punishable by a term of imprisonment not to exceed 4 years.
C. "Yes, but I'm allowed to because of 300 (400, 500 - insert historical nonsense here) years of slavery". Meaning: blatant and arrogant racism, poorly disguised as mere hypocrisy.
So, if her statement is not merely completely accurate, but understated literally million of times, what's the controversy?
If the name of the offense cannot be mentioned ("you have committed a crime so terrible, we can't even say what it is - because then we'd be guilty!"), perhaps the FCC might consider preserving the delicate sensibilities of our black audiences from hearing it repeated, at their own request, thousands of times every week.
Perhaps they should throw Russell Simmons, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, etc. in jail, and fine HBO a few million for using it 10,000 times so far this year?

When "hate speech" is defined those whose propensity for violence renders them too dangerous to reproach, rather than the content (Laura is ruined for telling the truth, but Mel Gibson merely needs to apologize for a continuous pattern of anti-Semitic calumny), let's admit that this is the rule, and that "black culture" (obscenity, self-righteous racial animosity, and violence) is dominant in America.
Will the last sane person please turn off the light?
