It appears that Performance Automotive Warehouse, aka PAW is no longer in
business.Looks like they are selling cams on ebay tho.

The website is still up, ( www.pawinc.com ) but all you get is a page with their logo on it and all the links to other sections of the site are dead. :(

Has anyone ever bought one of their 392 engines? It seemed like their prices were almost to good to be true. Just wondering if they were any good or just crap.

The word I've been reading on the Hamb, is that the owner is going to reopen soon and continue to offer stuff for the early Hemi. He even has his new Hemi website up and running. So, he is not gone yet! I say buy something form him now, no matter how small to show your support for his decision to continue to support this very small community. No, I do not know him personally, and I'm in no way affiliated with his company:

He also changed his user-id on ebay to "hotrodengineparts," and his new store will be called "Classic Speed Equipment."

I think we dodged a bullet!

I'm building 1 blown 392 1 blown 354 and 1 n/a 392 and I've been using PAW / earlyhemiengineparts.com for may of my parts. John is running it fully from the web and has a lot of great parts and information. The forged pistons are Ross and look great. The bearings are King who I talked to at the PRI show in Orlando and they made them specialty for PAW and can not be found anywhere else. I'll be posting pictures of these engines soon to the engine building portion of this form.

Not true, Bob Walker at Hot Heads Research also sells King bearings.

My mistake. I have ordered other items from Bob as well just not bearing. Eggy also sells these bearing. I was just going off of what the King rep told me.
