Manifold and Pistons

Post by Dick Dale »

I am a new member and made a few finds. I have a set of 7 pistons from what my Dad says he go in the 1960's. He said they are Hi Compression pistons for a 241 Dodge. They are Jahns and the number appears to be 368R. I don't know if this is correct. Also, I have what appears to be a 4X1 Weiand Manifold like the one on the top of page 68 of the Complete Chrysler Hemi Engine Manual. Could anyone give me a idea of how much these items are worth and if I decide to build a Hemi, can I use this manifold? I have always loved hemis and would like to build a street rod and use this manifold. Any suggestions are welcome.

It depends on the hemi you want to build.
if it is a 241-325, yes you can use the intake
the pistons depend on the engine chosen and the bore.
What they are worth is what people will give you for them on ebay, normally. Aftermarket intakes for these early hemis can bring big bucks. I have seen desoto manifolds go for $800+
