new early hemi manifolds

Here's a pic of the first Desoto 6x2. It's an EELCO brand.

We have a casting date of 9/15 on the 3x2 dual plane for the chrysler hemi manifold.

We have had a few request for the single 4bbl for the Desoto and Dodge but nobody has commited to an order. If you want them; call us direct at 503-651-3352 or email sales@eelco-usa.com

If you go to the site; wander around a bit. There is a lot to see on there and it gets added to alomost daily. Take care.

That is welcome news to all the early hemi guys. Is there an option of carb bolt pattern?

Sounds great, on the Chrysler 3X2 manifolds, couple of questions:

Are they sand cast aluminum?

What bolt style carb base are they setup to take?

Are you going to offer/sell the carbs/linkeage/aircleaner assemblies for them?

Are the flanges large enough to cover the rectangular port heads' center heat exchanger?

Are they plumbed for water crossover in the manifold, with a thermostat in the manifold, to eliminate the external water crossover?

Do you have the facilities to polish the manifolds and a cost established for the polishing?

Could you deliver 5 manifolds/carb setups/linkeage/aircleaners units by Nov 1, 2006?

PS: Good Luck with the venture.

All manifolds are sand cast aluminum. The water crossover and thermostat housing is not part of this design but the pattern can be modified to do so. The flanges are large enough to cover the heat exchangers.

We have been producing the linkage and accessories for several years now and can be seen at our site www.eelco-usa.com.

The manifolds are capable of being ordered and drilled for either 3 or 4 bolt carbs.

We do have a polisher in Southern California that we recommend and can ship direct to them for you.

We have a pour date of 9/15 and tooling will follow. This usually allows shipping in 2-3 weeks after the first run is complete.

November will be no problem at this time. However; orders are being taken now. No deposit is necessary but we will ship in the order they are recieved.

Retro,

Could you please post a pic or two of the Chrysler manifold, I can't find anything on your web site. Also since you're taking orders, what is the price?

Thanks, Mark

No pics will be posted until we have the first manifold poured. it is in the pattern process now.

Pre-orders are 370.00 with an expected list price (retail of 425.00) You will save 50.00 by ordering now.

You will be contacted when they are ready to ship for payment. We are not asking for money .Just a commitment to purchase.

Wow! That is a BEAUTIFUL piece! Well done! My hat is off to you and Eelco. I'm sure it will be well recieved once word starts geting around that they're available. I hope this will be the start of many new manifolds for a whole variety of other so called "obsolite" engines. Thank you for doing this.

The Desoto 6x2 is finished and we are shipping them now. We have had far more requests for the 3x2 than any other intake so we may head that direction first. We are taking names only at this point and will call for payment when they are ready to ship. If you want parts made for your Desots, Here's your chance. Thanks for the opportunity.

i am looking for a intake manifold WC3D, i understand how rare they are but just putting out there if anyone knows of one. That being said reading the post of years ago it sounded like they are being poured again. i know the mold was thrown away when Holly purchased Weiland but just curious about this pour and who is doing it

Hadn't heard of "retro". There were/was a thread on the HAMB about all the bad behavior of the owner/ guy who bought EECO, that was a number of years ago. Haven't heard of them since.

Looking back, I see "Retro" must have been EELCO's owner or an associate. They got hammered on the HAMB, apparently trying to do so much different stuff they wern't getting anything done.
