All low deck engines were made from the same casting, just bored to the next size without increasine bore thickness.Same with tall deck engines, but tall deck engines were compensated with thicker walls to accomidate larger bore.DON"T try to bore to tall deck diameter.

Hello...I had to bore and use a sleeve in my 241..nothing wrong with sleeves if done correct. blown engines have sleeves..I went .030 on the bore. get it sonic tested first, to make sure the walls of the cylinders are good..
