'59 Dodge 315 ???

Post by 65Valiant »

Just got to take a look at a '59 315 truck motor # M8-D6, this a complete motor out of an old farm truck any insight on it, is it worth the trouble being a Dodge, we did just picked-up a 270 and I know the 315 is the tall block. We are looking to use these old Dodge Hemis in some cool street cruisers, so would it be smart to purchase this little 315 for a reasonable price? Thanks Brian & Gordy

Hey there, we did buy it picking it up tomorrow, at a bargain price I think. Couldn't pass it by, thanks for the insight, is the early Dodoge HEMI stuff that hard to come by and does anyone have some valve covers? Thanks Brian & Gordy

Dodge valve covers interchange. If you ignore the exotic (expensive) stuff he did...check out Doc Fromaders 315 build on Webrodder.
