dizzy upgrade for 291 desoto

Hi all, just wondering why the elec dizzy upgrade uses a smallblock diz when a big block dizzy is the same dimensions as the original, I just happen to have a spare of each and measured them against each other, am I missing something like the diz turns the oposite direction on a bigblock because its at the front? any help would be app
