Spark Plug Gap????????

Post by budmspeeco »

Whenever I put an MSD box on an engine I open the gap to .045. According to racing legend Grumpy Jenkins a wider gap always works better if your ignition system has the capacity to generate the voltage necessary with the wider gap. If it is running now try it width the .035 and then talk to your local parts man to see if your type plug is offered with a wider gap rather than just open yours up, as a last resort. Install the wider gap plugs & I think it will run better . Buddy
