Dodge 241

Post by Red Ram 241 »

Have a chance to get Dodge 241, know nothing about Hemi's. Is there after market speed equipment readily avaiable ( 4 barrel intakes, cams, headers, etc.?) How about assemble manuals, suppliers? Is there an oil pan for it with sump to the rear? I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Check out www.hothemiheads.com Also get Tex Smith's hemi Book. It's Chrysler oriented more than Dodge & DeSoto, but it helps. While I wouldn't do some of the exotic things Doc did....check out Doc Fromader's 315 build on webrodder. Some 4 bl intakes were made for the 270 & will fit. Cams used to be regring only, if new arn't at hotHeads, they still are.

Check out Hot Heads Research at the link below. It's run by a great guy by the name of Bob Walker. Pretty much anything that's available will be there. I'll say ahead of time though, there's not a lot of stuff out there for the 241.
