241 Dodge Motor Mounts

I built a Hurst style mount for my 241 by tapping out the two lower front cover holes on both sides to 3/8 I've run this for 12 years with no problems. I don't see why it would not work with a chevy pump.

I have a 270 with an aluminium engine plate and a Weiand big block Chev aluminium waterpump. The plate is thick enough to be used as the adapter for the chevy pump to the Dodge block. The engine is balanced so I have it sitting directly on the frame through the plate. Works perfectly for 10,000 miles and we landspeed race it also. Linken Manufacturing in Oakville Ontario machined the plate for me.
