I've been working with Offenhauser to do a production run of the 2x2 intake manifolds for the Dodge 241 and 270 V8 engines. It's been about 20+ years since the last time they did a run of the manifold. In order to do it I would need an order of 25 manifolds. If you are interested in getting one of these hard to find maniflolds call me at 559-592-2707. I would need billing info to secure a spot on the list, but YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL I GET THE MANIFOLDS. The pricing of the manifold will be around the $340.00 mark plus shipping. Tay Offenhauser has not confirmed the final price yet, but I feel safe saying the cost should be close to that. Currently, the pattern only allows the use of the 4 bolt small base Rochester 2GC carburetors. I am working to have Offenhauser add to the pattern so the manifold can be drilled for the 3 bolt Stromberg or Holley carburetors. Let me know what carburetors you will be using. I can't confirm a final delivery date yet, but the faster the order is placed the sooner I can get the manifolds. I would assume the maifold will be available in 12 plus weeks. The current patterns need to have some work done to make them production ready and the work on the patterns will not start until I place the order.

I didn't realize that Offenhauser would/could do a custom run
of manifolds from their old patterns on a run of as few as just
25. This is fantastic news because Offy over the years has
produced all kinds of intakes in just about every variation
imaginable. If they can do this for the early Dodge hemis, they
and can/will *probably* also do this for all kinds of other
"obsolete" engines too. Something to think about.

I just talked with Offenhauser and the prototype of the single quad manifold is back from the foundary and they are doing machine work on it. The next step is to revise the pattern for production, finish the tooling and gear up for production. The 2x2 is getting pattern work to accept the 3 bolt carburetors then they have to protype it.

I just got off the phone with Offenhauser and they are going into full production on the 2x2 and 1x4 manifolds for the 241 and 270. So I'm accepting orders now. Manifolds should be ready in 6 to 8 weeks!!!! The 2x2 will be $340.00 plus shipping and the 1x4 will be $360.00 plus shipping. Alliance member discount of 5% will apply to all alliance members!
