Early Hemi Identification

I have an early hemi that I am having difficulty identifying. I think it is a 1955 270 but not sure. I have searched sites and the block number has not been found. Another person thinks it is a 1955 Dodge 331 or 354. The number on the front of the block is VT350-3150. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Well, according to Leo's book, the VT350 shows as a 331. But it could possibly be a poly, or a hemi, and the year I'm not sure of. Post some pictures so we can get a better look at it.

Dodge block Hemis & Polys were used in smaller trucks, but as far as I know only Chrysler Truck version hemis were used in big trucks, not Chr Polys.
