I'm building a 1933 dodge coupe and dropped in a 291 hemi from a 1955 desoto the problem is the water pump leaks, can't locate a replacement or even a rebuild kit can any one help thanks shaun

Yes thanks they want 150 to rebuild and I have to ship my old one for the rebuild, my only concern is if it gets lost in transit I'm really screwed

You'd still have the risk of loss in shipment, but..check with Gary at Quality Engineered Components. May be a bit cheaper & if originality isn't a problem he can change out the hub to take a modern fan.

Kanter 973-334-5423 has them or you can call Robert wolf in NC. He rebuilds them. 828-682-2663. You should consider the 330 pump; Robert said that these pumps do not have the grease fitting and do not require grease every 500 miles as the 276-291 pumps. they also have more blades and are a direct fit. Keep in mind that there are some pumps out there that have a plastic fan blade that breaks when trying to rebuild them. they are pressed on and shatter when trying to press off. So if you are looking for a second pump to have rebuilt make sure it is not plastic!
