Roadkill has done some pretty ridiculous things over the past few years, but this month’s episode might be the most Roadkill of them all. Dodge decided to give the crew three brand new vehicles to play with, including a Challenger Hellcat, a Charger Hellcat, and a Viper.

Freiburger and Finnegan meet up with Motor Trend’s own Carlos Lago at the former El Toro air base in Irvine, Calif. There, they ask Lago how MT would test these three cars, then proceed to completely ignore that advice and do a burnout contest instead. An instructor then arrives to coach the hosts on drifting the three Mopars. Breaking the tires loose isn’t an issue, but the hosts show there’s more to drifting than just losing traction. To cap off the day at El Toro, the 707-hp Charger, 707-hp Challenger, and 640-hp Viper are strapped together for a three-way tug-of-war.

The next day, Freiburger and Finnegan are joined by Dirt Every Day host Fred Williams. They take the cars out to a motocross track and race them through the dirt. If you hate seeing cool cars damaged, you might want to skip the end of this episode. But if you want to see how three of the most powerful production cars perform off-road – and see some epic rooster tails – you won’t want to miss this episode’s finale.
In appropriate use of a Viper and some Hellcats, sure, but you know you would want to!
