Mark Beckett’s 1990 Daytona R/T isn’t your normal Daytona by any means. Originally an ES model powered by a not-so sleepy 2.5 Turbocharged 5 speed set-up that was modified with a ported head, cam, forged pistons and running 20 lbs of boost, he decided to step it up another level. Out went the four cylinder set-up and in went a 5.7L HEMI. Did we catch your attention now?

First he stripped the body down and put it on a rotisserie. Next he installed a Mopar 8 3/4 rear end with 3:91 gears and Borla exhaust. From there, in went the HEMI. Of course he couldn’t leave that stock so he bumped up the horses a bit with a 6.1L SRT HEMI intake manifold, billet fuel rails, Arrington 85mm throttle body and a complete Aeromotive A1000 fuel system. For the transmission, the stock 5 speed set-up was pulled out in favor of a 6 speed from a 2000 Viper fitted with a Street Slayer clutch and aluminum flywheel. The brake system consists of Cobra Mustang and Hydro-Boost parts.

On the inside, he installed 2008 Mistubishi Eclipse front seats, Autometer Ultralite gauges and fabricated a custom roll bar. Check out the video of this killer Daytona. Talk about a sleeper!
Wow! That's an awesome combo!
