Ram 1500 SRT-10: the new generation imagined with V10 engine
Here's what the pickup would look like with the latest-generation Viper V10 engine

Many of you will surely remember the powerful Ram SRT-10 with the Viper engine mounted under its large hood. Based on the latest information leaked on the net, the American brand plans to bring to market the Ram Rebel TRX equipped with a Hellcat engine that somehow comes close to the performance offered by the 8.3 liter V10 engine.

In any case, Motor1.com has speculated how it could be the SRT-10 version of the new Ram 1500 with its even more aggressive design than the original model, specifically in the front where we find the headlights, the gray and the fascia.

Another side that would surprise the new Ram 1500 SRT-10 would be that of performance with the implementation of the latest generation Viper powertrain. It is a 8.4 liter V10 engine with 649 hp and 814 nm of maximum torque.

This engine, on the American sports car, offered 3.6 seconds in the shot from 0 to 100 km / h, 7.6 seconds in the shot from 0 to 160 km / h and a top speed of 325 km / h. Obviously, these numbers could decrease in the pick-up due to the additional weight to be supported. We remind you that this is 2404 kg on the 1500 Ram and 1600 kg on the Viper.

The new Ram Rebel TR and TRX will soon arrive on the market with some features borrowed from the TRX concept. However, instead of offering them on the market as similar models to the SRT-10, the American automaker will direct them towards the off-road. The power will come from the Hemi V8 engine which on the Rebel TRX will develop over 700 hp while on the TR over 500 hp.

As for the official debut, rumors speak of 2021 as the possible year of the presentation of the two special pick-ups. For now, however, let's be satisfied with these renderings that assume a Ram 1500 SRT-10 that will never see the light of the sun (unless a miracle).
I translated the page to English. You're welcome.

I would much rather see the return of the RAM SRT10 than more off-road trucks.
