1966 Plymouth Satellite Original 426 Hemi 4speed - $65000
According to the Galen Govier decoding this special ordered street hemi was one of the first to roll off of the line at the Lynch Road plant. The scheduled production date was December 17,1965. Being one of the first to be produced it carries the very rare and sought after HP2 fender insignias. The car currently has 28,xxx miles on the odometer and retains its original butternut yellow paint and black bucket seat interior. A new Year One interior comes with the car still in boxes. Per Galen's decoding the Satellite came from the factory with the Hemi, an 833 4 speed, 26" radiator, AM radio and rear speaker, console mounted tachometer and that's about it for options. Originally ordered from Burgess Motor Co in Aiken SC and resided in South Carolina until early 1968 when it was transported by its second owner to San Leandro CA where it resided until 2008 when I purchased it. The car runs and drivers well on its period magnesium Cragers and blue streak tires. Its really a well preserved time capsule. Recently all of the chrome and stainless has been redone and the passenger side body work has been reworked with new metal.
I love this. Street HEMI wrapped up in a discreet package.
