This 1934 Dodge panel truck was modified in the early 2000s in Virginia by its prior owner, who replaced the drivetrain and added an independent front suspension. Following the seller’s purchase in 2016, the truck was further customized with two-tone paint, interior upgrades, and a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with a Borla eight-stack electronic fuel-injection system. An A500 four-speed automatic transmission was also installed, and it is linked to an 8.25” rear end with a limited-slip differential. Chassis updates included Ridetech shocks, a rear sway bar, a Borgeson close-ratio steering box, Baer disc brakes, and Budnik 15” and 17” wheels, while the interior has been outfitted with a power-adjustable driver’s seat, Vintage Air climate control, a Kenwood CD head unit, AutoMeter gauges, and a banjo-style steering wheel on an Ididit column. This custom Humpback is now offered with a Washington title in the seller’s name.

The spare tire wells on the fenders were filled before the truck was repainted in a Lexus shade of red with black fenders and running boards. Decals with retro-style graphics were also added to the sides. Details include a polished grille insert, headlight buckets, and bumpers as well as trumpet-style horns, a tilt-out windshield, tinted glass, round side mirrors, black roof panels, and barn-style cargo doors.

A Cordoba-sourced torsion-bar independent front suspension was installed under prior ownership. The live rear axle was narrowed under current ownership, and it is supported by parallel leaf springs with lowering blocks and a sway bar. Following the seller’s acquisition, Ridetech shocks were also installed along with a Borgeson close-ratio steering box. Budnik Gasser 15” front and 17” rear wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Advantage T/A tires, and the center caps were fashioned from Dodge Brothers axle nut covers. Stopping power is provided by Baer disc brakes, which utilize a polished stainless-steel booster and drilled-and-slotted rotors at all four corners.

The front bucket seats are trimmed in black with red Snap-One embroidery, and the driver’s seat is power-adjustable. The rear-hinged doors are fitted with custom door panels and safety latches, and the body-color dashboard fascia is framed by woodgrain panels. A Vintage Air climate control system and a Kenwood CD head unit were also installed.

The banjo-style steering wheel has a Dodge Brothers center cap and is mounted to an Ididit tilt column with brushed brass accents. AutoMeter instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer with an inset tachometer as well an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates 3,400 miles. The seller estimates that approximately 5k miles have been added under their ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The cargo area is trimmed to match the cabin, and an upholstered box behind the seats houses the battery, ECU, and various controllers.

The 5.7-liter Hemi V8 crate engine was installed in 2020, and it is equipped with a Borla eight-stack electronic fuel-injection system managed by a MegaSquirt ECU. Sanderson headers flow into custom stainless-steel side exhaust pipes with capped cutouts and twin outlets.

A rebuilt A500 four-speed automatic transmission was installed along with the engine, and it has electronic overdrive and a lockup torque converter. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 8.25” rear end with a limited-slip differential. An Aeromotive Stealth 200 fuel pump draws from a Tanks Inc. fuel tank.

The vehicle is titled as a 1934 Dodge using the VIN 8062970, which appears on the identification plate shown above. The title carries both Exceeds Mechanical Limits and Classic brands.
